New director appointment at Agilysys is specialist in hospitality self-service and mobile technologies

Agilysys (Europe) Limited strategic appointment marks increased focus on self-service and mobile technology solutions for the food & retail hospitality sector

Nigel Allan, former co-founder and director of Xpress Ordering, joins Agilysys as Director of Business Development - EMEA


Provider of information technology, retail and hospitality software solutions, Agilysys (Europe) Limited, has announced the appointment of Nigel Allan, a respected and seasoned practitioner in self-service and mobile technologies in the hospitality sector.

Allan says: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Agilysys (Europe) Limited in the role of Director of Business Development - EMEA. My passion for self-service solutions and my experience and market knowledge within food service will add real value to the Agilysys proposition, providing increased focus, solution development and continued commitment.”

Nigel Allan will be developing self-service product strategies in line with market and client requirements and building upon recent UK success within Agilysys and their business partners in Europe. His objective is to position Agilysys as a leading provider of self-service technology, and create new opportunities in the food service, hospitality and FM sectors for the company’s complementary integrated solutions, namely InfoGenesis™ POS, mobile POS (mPOS), Eatec®, eMenu, loyalty, Visual One PMS and eCash.
